A Place to BE

House 1:14 is for all youth in grades 6-12.
We are a place to be after school, after practice, before a game, o
r anytime between 3-5 pm on a school day (currently M,T, & W only).

A Place to REST

Students are busy and stressed.

House 1:14 is a safe environment where youth are free to play games, do homework, or just spend time with friends.

A Place to EAT

No one goes hungry at house 1:14.

We have special meal options each day and snacks are always available.

A Place to GROW

House 1:14 is staffed with adults who are dedicated to helping students grow. They are available to listen, to mentor, to help with homework, to answer questions, and to encourage.

A Place with PURPOSE

Our Mission:

to cultivate an atmosphere where kids can experience a God-centered environment after school, while they wait.

Our Vision:

  • House 1:14 is a place where kids can receive positive mentoring from encouraging adults, thus helping meet their spiritual needs.

  • House 1:14 is a place where kids can feel safe, thus helping meet their emotional needs.

  • House 1:14 is a place where kids are fed, thus helping meet their physical needs.

At the heart of House 1:14 is a desire to bear witness to the good news of God's grace as revealed in Jesus Christ.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.   - John 1:14
